We were supposed to have a class trip to Amsterdam, but the morning we were supposed to leave we got an email saying that all NDSU study abroad programs were being canceled. We decided to still go to Amsterdam and our professor would have a meeting with NDSU that night.  On the train ride to Amsterdam, we all decided that we would stay in Europe even if the program was canceled. After our professor had his meeting, he told us that it would probably be best to go home. We all agreed, but decided we would stay in Amsterdam until Saturday (instead of Sunday). The next morning we woke up to an email saying that we needed to come home immediately.

For the one day I was in Amsterdam, I was able to tour the Anne Frank House which is where the attic is that Anne Frank and her family hid in during WWII.
