COLOGNE, GERMANY

On Thursday, which was also the first day of Carnival, we took a train to Cologne for a class trip. The train station was chaos, and the square out side was even busier. Everyone was wearing customs and drinking. Bands we marching all over and some people were playing music from speakers. They pretty much played the same three song on repeat the whole weekend. On Friday, we went to a holocaust museum that was inside a building formally used by the Gestapo. Then was went to the Cologne Cathedral where the remains of the three wise men are. We walked around a bit, then had a group supper. On Saturday, we took a train to Essen for a day trip. Sunday was our last day in Cologne. I decide to go to the zoo then head home early because it was rainy.
