On Thursday we took a train from Brussels to Paris. After we dropped off our bags at the hostel we went to the Eiffel Tower. We ate some crepes, saw some street performers, then had supper at the hostel. The next day we went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, saw Norte Dame from a distance, the Louvre from the outside, and had a group supper. On Saturday, we went to the opera house that inspired the Phantom of the Opera, and walked through the Paris catacombs. Today I went to Versailles, which was later evacuated due to a “winter storm”, and took a train back to Brussels. It was supposed to leave at 6:30 and arrive at 8:45, but instead it left at 7:45 and arrived at 9:30.
